Green Tea with Mint

Green Tea with Mint Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp green tea leaves (or 1 green tea bag)
  • 5-6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1-2 tsp honey (optional)
  • A slice of lemon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Boil the Water:
  • In a small pot, bring the water to a gentle boil. Avoid over-boiling as it can make the green tea taste bitter.
  1. Add the Mint Leaves:
  • Once the water starts boiling, add the fresh mint leaves and let them simmer for 1-2 minutes to release their flavor.
  1. Add the Green Tea:
  • Turn off the heat, add the green tea leaves (or tea bag), and let it steep for 2-3 minutes. Adjust steeping time depending on how strong you want the flavor.
  1. Strain and Sweeten (Optional):
  • Strain the tea into a cup to remove the leaves. You can add honey for sweetness if desired.
  1. Serve:
  • Garnish with a fresh mint sprig or a slice of lemon if you prefer a citrusy touch.

Enjoy your refreshing mint green tea!
